Today it is Rosh Chodesh, the Jewish festival of the New Moon. This festival is about the promise of renewal. The moon the feminine side of God renews itself each month. Just as the moon can renew herself, we can renew ourselves. She is our promise of renewal.

Ghosts belong very much to Halloween. Dead spirits that roam our world, especially on the day that the veil between the worlds thinner is than usal. Ghosts are there and not there, barely visible. They appear suddenly and vanish in the same way.

It is nearly Halloween. I am looking into the animals and creatures that belong to Halloween, and how I am like them. Firstly the bat. By making high noises and listening to the echoes, bats locate prey and objects. They sleep in dark carves or cellars. Bats are active in twilight or in the night.

I have got a painful, thick and blue middle-finger. It was pressed between a doorknob and a wall. Last week was demanding for me.
